Art Genève

About

The exhibition took place from January 30th to February 2nd, 2025.

2026 edition coming soon

Founded in 2012, Art Genève quickly established itself as a highlight in the international art calendar and now opens the European art fair calendar during Geneva’s winter season.

Hosted at Palexpo, the fair brings together around 80 modern and contemporary art galleries, alongside a variety of national non-commercial entities, including private collections, institutions, schools, art centers, and foundations. Art Genève fosters dialogue between the commercial and institutional art worlds, shines on the international stage, and enriches local cultural life with events held both within and beyond the fair’s walls.

Thanks to the quality of its programming, Art Genève launched Art Monte-Carlo in 2016, an annual summer Salon d’Art held on the French Riviera.

Sections

Art Genève is organized into different sections, each curated to offer a diverse and high-quality experience. The Sur-Mesure section, curated by Nicolas Trembley, features monumental works, while the Solo Art Genève-F.P. Journe Prize honors Solo presentations with the awarded artwork joining the collection of a local institution. Each edition also supports the local scene through the Mobilière Prize, which recognizes a young Swiss artist.

The Music section presents performances and installations curated by composer Augustin Maurs, in collaboration with historian and curator Catherine Othenin-Girard. The fair is further enriched by a dedicated section for art publishers and publications, as well as a series of Art Talks.
