Art Genève, 13th edition

The fair took place from 30 January to 2 February 2025 at Palexpo, Geneva

Art Genève presented a new and generous edition, bringing together 80 galleries specializing in modern and contemporary art. The quality of the selected participants offers a diverse experience, showcasing unique approaches and a range of mediums, from painting to video art. While the fair has secured its place on the international calendar, it retains an intimate atmosphere and preserves its unifying spirit. Building bridges. Cultivating authenticity and vibrancy. Stimulating and nurturing relationships on both national and international levels.

To strengthen Art Genève’s national ties, the Mobilière Prize awarded the young Swiss talent, Alfatih, while the Solo-F.P. Journe Prize was awarded to Richard Saltoun Gallery from among the 26 stands in the Solo section, celebrating artist BAYA’s creativity. Swiss institutions, art centers, foundations, and museums completed the panorama, enriching the exhibition circuit with projects specially designed for Art Genève.

Introduced for the first time in 2024, the Sur-Mesure section continued to explore unusual formats, exhibiting monumental pieces, while the  Music section’s installations and performances immersed the public in sound works that extended even beyond the walls of the exhibition. Visitors could enjoy the fair further by browsing beautiful books in the art publishers’ section or by attending conferences that shed light on selected current topics in the contemporary art world.

Founded in 2012, Art Genève quickly established itself as a highlight in the international art calendar and now opens the European art fair calendar during Geneva's winter season.
